Trauma-Informed Workplace Training
In our Trauma-Informed Workplace Training, corporate leadership will learn evidence-based practices and techniques to navigate trauma in the workplace environment. Participants will learn how to create a more trauma-resilient environment by identifying triggers and providing support to traumatized individuals and communities. This program emphasizes the importance of safe spaces in the workplace and equips participants with the necessary tools to maintain a trauma-informed workplace environment.
Assessment: Conducting an assessment to identify trauma triggers and responses in the workplace, as well as how they affect the employees and the overall work environment.
Education: Providing education and awareness on the impact of trauma on individuals and the workplace. This includes identifying the signs and symptoms of trauma, understanding how it affects behavior, and learning how to respond in a trauma-sensitive manner.
Implementation: Implementing trauma-informed policies and practices to create a safe and supportive work environment for employees. This includes revising organizational policies, addressing organizational culture, and providing training to employees on how to support each other.
Evaluation: Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of the trauma-informed approach and making adjustments as needed. This includes measuring outcomes such as employee retention, absenteeism, and job satisfaction.
Trauma-Informed Advocate Training
In our Trauma-Informed Advocate Training, individuals and personnel will learn how to address trauma in their personal lives by promoting a holistic approach. Participants will learn how to apply a Trauma Solution Focused approach in their everyday lives, empowering them to overcome trauma-related obstacles and become more resilient. This program emphasizes the importance of self-care and self-awareness in addressing personal trauma and provides participants with the necessary tools to become advocates for themselves and their communities.
Trauma Behavioral Health Specialist™
The Trauma Behavioral Health Specialist™ certification program is designed to provide behavioral health professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to become proficient in evidence-based practices for supporting and treating individuals and communities impacted by trauma. The program is ideal for professionals who have earned a graduate degree (or higher) and are dedicated to advancing their skills in the field of traumatology.
Objectives of the certification program include:
Developing a comprehensive understanding of the various types of trauma and their impact on individuals and communities.
Acquiring knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment, intervention, and treatment of trauma.
Building skills in providing trauma-informed care and support to traumatized individuals and communities, with a focus on cultural humility and sensitivity.
Learning effective strategies for working collaboratively with other professionals, such as medical providers, social workers, and mental health practitioners, to provide comprehensive care to clients.
Gaining expertise in implementing trauma-focused interventions and programs within a variety of settings, including clinical, educational, and community-based environments.
